Laura Keith

Laura Keith, Chair of the Board, appointed to the Board in 2020

 

Laura earned her BSBA from the University of Central Missouri. She spent 10+ years in sales, publishing, and as a landscape architect.  She enjoys volunteering at her church, on her HOA Landscape committee, as a local Girl Scout Troop leader, and with the local Arizona Cactus-Pine Council. She supports PHMS Booster and, when time permits, is in the classroom on the Elementary campus. Before joining the Board, she served as a parent representative on the PHES Site Council for a two-year term.

She and her husband Brian have been married since 2005. They have two lovely children who are both Panthers at PHMS and PHHS. Their family became complete when their English Bulldog Spanky joined them seven years ago. They are an active family who enjoy spending time together outdoors camping, kayaking, hiking, fishing, playing sports, family game nights, attending church, traveling, and cheering on their favorite college team, the Nebraska Cornhuskers….GO BIG RED!

 

Jerry Salcedo

Jerry Salcedo, was appointed to the Board in 2016

Education: University of Texas

 Jerry has been married to his wife, Brandy for 27 years.  They have 3 incredible children who have all graduated from Paradise Schools. Jerry enjoys spending time with his family. Mountain biking and serving in the community in several ways at school and church involvement. 

 

Jessica Greene

 Jessica Greene, Co-chair of the Board, appointed to the Board in 2023

 

Regional Manager, Health Resource Services

Education: Master of Public Administration, Bachelor of Science in Business Administration.

Jessica has two daughters who began at Paradise Elementary and are now thriving at PHMS and PHHS. Both are taking advantage of the variety of clubs and performing teams. Jessica enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, and exploring new places as much as time allows.  She also enjoys reading and cooking.

 

 

Erick DeWerth

Donna Meuse, appointed to the Board in 2026

 

Donna Meuse graduated from Boston University with a bachelor's degree in communications and later earned her master's degree in leadership from Grand Canyon University. Meuse has been a Human Resources leader for almost 20 years, and she currently works as the HR Director for the Musical Instrument Museum in Phoenix where she is passionate about supporting the arts and celebrating world cultures. Meuse has lived in Surprise since 2011, and she enjoys being an engaged community member coaching youth basketball with the city of Surprise, volunteering at Paradise, and participating in community events and activities with her family. The child of an elementary school teacher, Meuse has always valued education and had great respect for educators. She joined the PHES site council in 2024, and she looks forward to serving the greater Paradise community on the Governing Board.  

 

 

Ivan

Ivan Nicholson, appointed to the Board in 2026

 

Ivan Nicholson has worked at the University of Phoenix since 2007 and currently serves as a Learning Facilitator, leading onboarding and training for new hires and providing supplemental professional development for existing staff. He also leads the African American Employee Resource Group and serves as a senior member of the university’s commencement team. Prior to his career at UoPX, Ivan supported teens transitioning out of gangs and substance abuse in a group-home setting. 

 Ivan earned a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Illinois College and is currently pursuing a Master of Business Administration. He and his wife, Chelsey, have been together for 24 years, and are the parents of four children, two of whom currently attend Paradise Schools. Ivan actively supports the PEP booster organization by attending meetings and volunteering at campus events, and is a youth sports coach in the community. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family and cheering on the St. Louis Cardinals and the Los Angeles Rams.
